Louisville....

This past weekend we went to Louisville Kentucky for the NFAA Indoor Tournament. We left Thursday after I got home from work. The first night we drove until just after 11:00 and stopped just over the border of IL. Friday we got into Kentucky around 4:00. We had a great view of the Ohio River from our hotel room. Here are a couple of pictures we took from the room.

Saturday Rick had his first day of shooting. He shot in the Senior class for the first time. He did great tying for 3rd place. He was very happy with that since it is a national tournament. He had fun shooting and is already talking about going back next year.

Saturday after he was done shooting we walked around downtown Louisville. It was 61 degrees and sunny out. It felt so good to just feel the heat and the sun. It was a relaxing afternoon.

The buildings were all so beautiful downtown. The building above and below must be collapsing because they had the huge beams holding it up. We saw several building that they were saving. It is nice to see them save the old beautiful buildings.

The sunset on Saturday night was a beautiful site from our hotel window.

Sunday Rick did not shoot until 2:30 so we did not leave for home until almost 7:30. We drove until 1:00 a.m. and then got a hotel for the night. We were back on the road at 7:45 this morning and made it back home around 12:30. It really was a pretty nice drive down and back. The roads are all nice and we  only hit traffic once for about 10 minutes when we arrived in Louisville.

We had a great weekend.
Later Sharon
