This time of year, I always reminisce about all the costumes that I made for the grandkids over the years. I started making them in 2010, and the last one I made was in 2022. Poor Larina and Nash did not get the full attention to my Halloween costume making years.
I often find myself talking to people about those costumes, and they regularly ask to see photos of them. So here you go! I hope you enjoy seeing them as much as I enjoyed making them and watching the kids wear them.
Once I started making the costumes the kids began to tell me what they wanted to be for the next year, as soon as Halloween was done 😂
I made the Bat costume for Liam, not Josie's Ladybug.
The year of the pirate!
Christa gets credit for making the wigs
When Oliver said he wanted to be a firetruck a firetruck is what I made :)
Eli wanted to be carrot, this one took a little imagination
The robot twins,
This was one of the most challenging costumes I've made. It was hard to make everything look plastic for the toy soldier.
The Headless man...
The very last costumes I made. Both Larina and Nash wanted to be bees.
My one and only dog costume...
Lots of time and love went into making each and every one of them.
Happy Halloween....
