Cow Tipping Press.....

Yesterday I got the privilege of listening to my nephew and nine other very talented authors read some of their writings. They had taken part in a workshop for people with developmental disabilities to create writings. The workshop was 5 classes over the winter and is put on by Cow Tipping Press. They are a great organization that works developmental disabled people to help them create writings and then publishes a book of the writings. When it is all done they get to have a public reading of the books. Makes sure you go the Cow Tipping Press website  to learn more about them.

I was so proud of Jacob and all the authors. The writings were so enlightening, funny and heartwarming. It  brings me such joy to see how much their work brings them confidence and gives them an outlet to share their feelings. I cannot wait to see what they all write about next!

I just can't express how privileged I feel to be able to go to these events. I am so happy that Cow Tipping Press and other organizations like them exist so they can help change the perspectives of people with disabilities.
