“The only real certainty is that if you get to live, you gotta die. Live life now.” ― Aaron Lauritsen

We have been having a great time on our road trip. Today it is raining and we just got to our latest distination so I thought I would up date my blog about the first part of the trip.  We left Waseca at 3:30 a.m. on 02-06-18  and drove until we got to Dalhart TX. We found a campgrounds that we could hook up for the night for $29. We plugged the camper in and put the heat on and went right to sleep. The dogs did great on the long 16 hour drive. I am pretty sure Otis slept 15 hours of the day.  The next morning we got up and were on the road by 6:00.

We made it to Boulder City NV at about 6:00 Wednesday evening. We stayed at Canyon Trail RV Park a super nice park. It is very clean and quiet. It was about 30 minutes from South Point where the Vegas Shoot is held.

The shoot is Friday, Saturday and Sunday so we spend a good part of our days at South Point. Rick shot a little lower then he would have liked to but still did well. It was a lot of fun seeing all the people that we only see once or twice a year.

A bunch of the OK Archery bows that were shot in Vegas

A couple of Rick's Jr. Staff Shooters

Mike Ryan one of Rick's Staff Shooters. Mike shoot back to back 300's That is a huge accomplishment. A big congratulations to him.

We also went to Lake Mead one day and walked around down by the lake. It makes me sad to see how low the lake has gotten, but it was very beautiful.

As always Vegas was a lot of fun. We loved being able to go back to the camper at night.

That is it for now I will update as we go along....

"Complete strangers can stand silent next to each other in an elevator and not even look each other in the eye. But at a concert, those same strangers could find themselves dancing and singing together like best friends. That's the power of music". -LZ Granderson

Last night I went to the Armory in Minneapolis to see Pink.

The Armory was really nice, they did a great job remodeling  it. The acoustics were great.

We did not find out until we go there that Pink was not going to come on stage until 11:00. That is way past my bedtime.

The tickets were all general admission so everyone was on the floor unless you wanted to spend $700 for VIP tickets. This was the first time I have every been to a concert where I was on the floor. I am not a big lover of being in a smashed up crowd so we stayed towards the back. We stood on the above ramp and we were actually able to see Pink most of the time and were able to move around.

I tried to get a few pictures but they are not very good. Hard with the low light and everyone moving about.

She ended the night by flying around on cables. It was so cool, she was right above us.

She was so good! It was a great concert and I am so glad I went and experienced her in a small venue. I am lucky enough to have tickets to her concert in March in St. Paul. I am excited to see the difference.

Did I need to go..No...Did the tickets cost a lot...Yes...am I completely sleep deprived after only 3 hours of sleep....Yes....was it worth it ABSOLUTELY!!!!
